Aziziyyah Apartments

Our Shifting Packages (see Choosing Your Hajj Package below) include a second type of accommodation in Makkah, in Aziziyyah/Shisha. It is close to the Jamarat for easy access to the holy sites during the days of Hajj, and is chosen so pilgrims can rest and recharge between the rites.

Aziziyyah accommodation

  • Al Wataniya Hotel (Nemco)
  • Ares Al-Shisha
  • Abdul Hafez Al-Humaiden
  • Apartment blocks, not hotels

Accommodation in Aziziyyah is mostly apartment blocks. Taxi drivers are unlikely to know the buildings, so when you go out, ask reception for a card for the building, or for written directions and the address.

  • Mostly quad rooms

Whatever room category you booked in Makkah and Madinah (twin, triple, or quad), rooms in Aziziyyah will in most cases be quad rooms.

Choosing Your Hajj Package

Choosing the right package is essential for a memorable and fulfilling pilgrimage. We offer a range of packages to suit your needs and budget, from budget-friendly options to comprehensive packages with all the amenities. Check each package's inclusions and exclusions, including Hady and Zamzam, to find the one that suits you best.

Madinah First or Makkah First?

Madinah First

  • Arriving at Madinah Airport after a long international flight can be very convenient, as it is less busy than the Jeddah terminal.
  • Madinah Airport is a short 30-minute drive from all the hotels in the central zones around the Prophet's Mosque.
  • A few days in Madinah gives time for Hajj seminars (if guidance is part of your package) and to recover from travel before performing Umrah.
  • You do not need to travel in ihram: you put it on in the comfort of your hotel in Madinah.
  • Departing via Jeddah after Hajj can be challenging, as it will be very busy.
  • Leaving for home immediately after Hajj can take some time to adjust to, physically and mentally.

Makkah First

  • The new Jeddah Airport offers quick, seamless arrival procedures, including immigration and baggage.
  • You must be in ihram before you land in Jeddah, which many find challenging.
  • Umrah is completed soon after arrival, leaving you free to rest and focus on Hajj.
  • Hajj preparation talks and lectures can be arranged in Makkah, and some basic Hajj training is given in home countries anyway.
  • Going to Madinah after Hajj allows rest, reflection, and time to plan your life after Hajj.
  • The easy departure from Madinah Airport leaves pilgrims with a positive memory of their journey.

Shifting or Non-Shifting?

  • Non-Shifting Package

Your hotel in Makkah is booked for your entire stay, including the days of Hajj. You have access to your room and luggage whenever you wish to go back, including while you are in Mina.

  • Shifting Package

Your stay in Makkah is split between two types of accommodation:

    • Type 1: a hotel close to the Haram, booked before or after Hajj, but not during the days of the Hajj rites.
    • Type 2: accommodation in another location, far from the Haram, for the rest of your stay during the peak season of 4–14 Dhul Hijjah, including the days of Hajj. Pilgrims stay in quad, quint, or larger rooms, with men and women in separate rooms. This applies even if you booked twin, triple, or quad sharing, as that room type only applies to your main accommodation in Makkah and Madinah under a shifting package.
